What is Search Engine Optimization (aka SEO)?  Search Engine Optimization refers to the techniques, skills and/or process(s) of making your website more visible to the search engines for specific keyword and phrase searches.  SEO is not something to take lightly.  Proper Search Engine Optimization requires time (possibly months), proper research,  a high knowledge/skill level and professional tracking software. 

Many website and marketing firms offer SEO as one of their services.  While a few are really good at proper Search Engine Optimization, most lack the proper experience and knowledge to position your website(s) at or near the top and maintain those positions for many keywords and phrases.  Many website and marketing firms offer SEO services for as little as $49 per month.  ANY good SEO Firm will charge hundreds, if not thousands of dollars per month to assure proper rankings.  Search Engine Optimization requires many hours of maintenance when done properly.  Any company charging $49 per month is not putting enough time or effort into maintaining your internet visibility.
